The knives are made the traditional way with superior quality hollow handles that are silver plated and blades which are made from world famous Sheffield Steel which are marked with the FRANCIS NEWTON & SONS EST 1793 SHEFFIELD ENGLAND Logo. All knives have superior quality silver plated hollow handles that are attached to stainless steel blades. This is a vintage cutlery set that has been well looked after and is in excellent condition and has been recently polished so is clean and ready to use. The wooden box does have some marks and needs its knife rack fixing back into place but has done a great job protecting its contents.
